A Keiki’s Aloha Foundation a.k.a.♥ was founded by Darby Gill who previously founded and directed A Keiki's Dream Program and Sammy's Keiki Aloha Fund on Maui to support children in crisis. When he retired in 2015, these valuable programs went away. A Keiki’s Aloha Foundation a.k.a.♥ was developed to revive Sammy's Keiki Aloha Fund which financially assisted the families of children in Hawaii who face major medical issues and needed to be treated off of their home island. All children must be referred by a medical professional who has the child in his or her caseload. Each Family is eligible one-time only when the child is required to go off of their home island for significant medical treatment.
